A grumpy ol’ coot at the Port Aransas birding center chased another coot across the water. I don’t know what caused the dispute but the grumpy ol’ coot took quite a few steps on the water’s surface without sinking. The other bird’s wake can be seen just above this coot. It escaped with all its feathers in tact.
