I came across a pot of petunias and marigolds at my friend Annie’s place of business and spent a few minutes sprawled on the asphalt taking photos from various angles. I wasn’t happy with most of the shots but I did like this lone petunia. However, my focus and choice of aperture were less than ideal and I wish I’d used the tripod which was in the trunk of my car which is pictured, however abstractly, as the gray in the lower background of the shot.
