One new photograph, almost every day of the year

2020—Fly Me to the Moon

During our December visit to Bosque del Apache in New Mexico, a full moon hung in the sky well into the morning. Technically, this Friday the 13th moon was a Waxing Gibbous moon; the full moon was the day before, December 12. Waves of Snow Geese swirled in the sky as they peeled off in small groups from the large flotilla on the Track Pond. The challenge was the capture them as they passed by the moon.

Carol….Is that the moon in the background? As usual a great shot. Happy New Year.
