Our first morning in Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge this past December was truly spectacular. The light from the New Mexico sunrise colored the landscape with a warm orangey-yellow glow. The perfect temperature created wispy mist that rose from the pond and veiled the surroundings. While some Snow Geese bobbed on the pond, others flew over it. What a joy to experience such magical beauty.
