Male Pine Grosbeaks are beautiful finches that live in cold boreal and subarctic forests. They are winter residents of Sax-Zim Bog and their reddish pink feathers really stand out with a background of snow. This male waits his turn at one of the feeders at the Winterberry Bog station.
