The Salt Pond along Ingram Slough is rife with shore birds. Sandpipers, Stilts, Avocets, and Dowitchers, including Long-billed Dowitchers like this one. They sift through the silt in the Salt Pond in search of a meals. The abundance of wildlife, especially birds, so close to my home continues to amaze and please me.
