As the snow falls around it, a Black-capped Chickadee, feathers fluffed against the cold, sticks its tongue out. I doubt this bird has the same tendency as kids (or even some adults, but I won’t say who 🤫) to try to catch snowflakes on its tongue but then, you never know.
