Who’s your friend? No, I didn’t throw the apple core although I’ve hurled a core or two at my brother in the past. I wouldn’t dare do that now, especially since it’s not a good idea to bite the hand that feeds you. My brother is an excellent cook and an even better baker. In the few days I’ve been in Oregon, I’ve feasted on a sumptuous quiche, a pile of homemade cranberry/orange biscuits, and delectable apple tarts. The combination apple peeler, corer, and slicer made quick work of the usually annoying task of preparing apples for baking.
