After spending a few days at the Lee Metcalf National Wildlife Refuge in Montana last week photographing Blackbirds, the Yellow-headed Blackbird has emerged as one of my favorite birds. Their expressions are priceless and capturing them in a classic pose straddling cattails was icing on the cake.
