One of the few things I remember learning from my high school chemistry class is the order of the colors of the rainbow, abbreviated by the initials of the colors, ROYGBIV. As I mentioned in my post yesterday, when there is a double rainbow, the reflection is VIBGYOR, something I just learned a few days ago. Somehow, those initials don’t roll as easily off the tongue, but this image illustrates it pretty well.
